Bitterroot River Update

The Bitterroot River has been dropping and that is positive for the fishing.  The warmer temps are going to bring it up but should still be relatively clear.  The upper stretches are fishing best with a few salmon flies hanging around, starting to see golden stones and green drakes. Ouch!

Look like this isn’t the first time this little guys has been caught!  No wonder he was fighting so hard…OUCH!!!  Salmon flies are out on the West Fork!

The Bitterroot River is @ 2460 cfs  @ Darby. The upper river is clearing up and the fishing is getting better. The West Fork is starting to see a few more Salmon Flies and should have killer fishing soon! The water is still high…so be careful!
